Soy profesor con doctorado en educación, especializado en la enseñanza de chino mandarín y español. Me enfoco en ayudar a estudiantes que comienzan desde cero o que desean avanzar en niveles HSK1 a HSK4, utilizando un método claro, práctico y fácil de entender. En mis clases no solo aprenderás el idioma, también integro elementos de la cultura china, actividades dinámicas y ejercicios que te ayudarán a desarrollar confianza al hablar. Trabajo la pronunciación, el vocabulario y la escritura de caracteres de manera estructurada, para que el aprendizaje sea progresivo y sin complicaciones. Las clases son personalizadas, adaptadas a tu nivel y objetivos, con un enfoque práctico para que puedas usar el idioma en situaciones reales. Mi objetivo es que avances rápido, entiendas bien y te sientas seguro utilizando el idioma.

Hello! My name is Amanda. I am a professional Chinese teacher with many years of international teaching experience, and I currently live in France. I am a certified teacher holding an Advanced International Chinese Teaching Certificate. I taught Chinese to international students for five years at a university in China, and later taught Chinese courses for three years at a university in the United States. Teaching students from different cultural backgrounds has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and my classes have always been very well received by students. My professional path is also quite international. After my teaching experience, I completed a Master’s degree in accounting in the United States and worked at PwC in Boston. I later moved to France and obtained a Master’s degree in Accounting from ESSEC Business School. These experiences gave me a deep interest in cross-cultural communication. Currently, I am also learning French myself. This experience helps me understand very well what adult language learners really need. 😉 Many traditional textbooks are either too childish or not very engaging for adults, so in my classes I prefer to use materials that are meaningful, interesting, and intellectually stimulating. 😊 In our lessons, I first take some time to understand your level and your goals. Then we design learning materials together based on your interests, including reading materials, videos, and conversation topics that are both interesting and challenging. My interests are quite broad. I enjoy reading (both fiction and non-fiction), traveling, music, philosophy, history, art, and culture. These topics often become great conversation material in class, helping students improve their Chinese in a relaxed and natural way. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. Every lesson is adapted to your level and your interests, whether you are a beginner or already have experience learning Chinese.
