Hello! I’m Arnaldo Farias, a language teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching BASIC English and Spanish.
I was born in Venezuela, with nationality from Peru, and I currently live in the Dominican Republic.
I studied Foreign Languages at the Pedagogical Institute in Caracas, and I started teaching young people and adults from a very young age. I first learned BASIC English on my own — by listening to and writing down the lyrics of singers and bands from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Later, I lived in New York, where I continued learning and immersing myself in the language and its cultural expressions, although I know I'm still learning.
My Spanish lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate learners. I combine a clear structure, personalized materials, and a communicative approach. I enjoy, I love teaching from the student’s own language when possible, because I know it makes the process easier. Now you know I explain Spanish through its cultural background, which helps students understand it deeply and remember it more naturally.
I’m passionate about teaching because I teach the way I wish I had been taught — with patience, empathy, and attention to every question. I never get annoyed when students ask questions — in fact, I love it! I’m happy to repeat things as many times as needed until you feel confident and secure.
I focus on working with adults, professionals, and university students from the United States, the UK, and other English-speaking countries, helping them move forward with confidence. What motivates me the most is seeing my students’ joy when they understand a conversation, pronounce something correctly, or finally start speaking with ease.

¿Comment se déroulent les cours ?
Les cours sont donnés dans la salle de classe virtuelle de classgap, développée à des fins pédagogiques avec de nombreuses fonctionnalités telles que la vidéoconférence, le service de messagerie instantanée, le tableau blanc virtuel ou le traitement de texte en ligne collaboratif. Comment dois-je payer le cours ?
Lorsque vous sélectionnez un cours ou un forfait, vous ferez le paiement grâce à notre service de paiement virtuel. Vous avez deux options: - carte de débit / crédit - Paypal Une fois le paiement réglé, nous vous enverrons un e-mail pour confirmer la réservation.
