My main program for students who wishes to learn Turkish is TOMER, YEE and etc. so that i choose the program for all level students. I always create more comfortable condition for students, feel them relaxed during learning process and try to be far from the standard teaching stereotypes. My teaching style usually varies from The directing style to the discussion and delegating style. My teaching promotes learning through listening and following directions. With this style, I tell the students what to do, how to do it, and when it needs to be done. I impart information to the students via lectures, assigned readings, audio/visual presentations, demonstrations, role-playing, and other means. Students gain information primarily by listening, taking notes, doing role plays, and practicing what they are told to do. The discussion-style promotes learning through interaction. In this style, I encourage critical thinking and lively discussion by asking students to respond to challenging questions. My role is being a facilitator guiding the discussion to a logical conclusion. Students learn to have opinions and to back them up with facts and data.

Hello everyone! I am Ahmet Samet. I studied Turkish language and literature and graduated from Kocaeli University in 2009. I have pedagogical proficiency and a `Teaching Turkish for Foreigners` certificate from Istanbul University. I have experience in high schools and secondary schools in İstanbul/Turkey for 5 years. I've been living and working as a Turkish teacher in London for 5 years. I love being a teacher and teaching my language to foreigners. That is why i am doing my job with love. I know that one of the most important part of learning a language is doing practice. So i also sometimes text messages my students so that they can do practice with me because I am not only their teachers but also their friends. :) All the collateral will be provided by me. I will give you homework after every lesson and we will check it together. I use a theory book and an excercise book for my lessons, versions vary according to your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1). They're all published by Istanbul University and are called `Turkish For Foreigners` I also use powerpoint presentations during my lessons. It makes it easier to understand the grammar rules. My lessons are about grammar, listening, speaking and writing. Lessons are interactive and fun as I believe a playful approach to learning a new language helps retaining information.
