Hi! I’m Darren Stone, and I’ve been teaching guitar, music production, and composition for over 15 years. I’ve taught in secondary schools, from instrumental lessons to classroom teaching, and I’m proud to have consistently helped my students achieve results above the national average in teaching VCERT Music Technology with a 100% pass rates! Beyond teaching, I’ve spent nearly 20 years working as a professional media composer, guitarist, and songwriter. I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing talents like Mark Hill (Craig David, Artful Dodger) and Steve Hillier (Dubstar), which opened the door to a rewarding career in TV, including work for Endemol Entertainment. One of my highlights was writing songs for Disney Junior’s “Get Up and Dance,” a massive hit with over 55 million views on YouTube! Over my 20 year career my works have been broadcast all over the UK and internationally. I love teaching and creating lessons that are fun and tailored to your goals.
