I am Hosein, a chemical engineer who loves teaching math and particularly engineering software to my students.
I am currently studying for master in chemical engineering at Catania University and I am trying to learn Italian so I can teach what I have learned in Italian as well.

Hello there! My name is Polina, I’m a sound designer and sound engineer for films, commercials, videos and video games sometimes. It is my main job and also I’m a musician and I perform with my music for quite a long time. I’ve been making electronic music for around 15 years, using different kind of sequencers, groove boxes and synthesizers and then computer as well. For the last several years I’ve been playing and performing with electric guitar and singing, using different kind of vocal techniques
If you want to play music but you’re not really sure where to start or what your music should sound like – we can explore together what is there you want, what tools can come in handy, how you want to play, how to record a song. I can teach you how to make music using electronic devices or your computer. Or maybe you know what you’re doing and you would like to discover how you can enhance your music, add something unique and beautiful to it. Or maybe you’ve got a specific question — that works too.
And the other thing that I can be helpful with is sound design. We can try and learn how to make any kind of sound so that the video you’re working on or animation, can get another feeling. Or it can be sound for a podcast.
Making sound for film, documentary videos and commercial is my job. I’ve been studying sound engineering at film school and also I’ve been studying experimental sound and media before that.

Hai un progetto di musica e vuoi affinare le tue competenze da produttore, da arrangiatore e/o ingegnere del suono? Posso seguirti e aiutarti li dove necessiti! Nonostante la mia giovane età ho già lavorato con tanti progetti, di diverso genere. Possiamo dunque gestire insieme il tuo ambiente creativo, qualsiasi esso sia, dai gruppi musicali (Reggae, Funk, Fusion ecc..) alla produzione di beat hip hop, trap, dance, techno, pop ecc.. Dalla produzione alla post produzione, dai rudimenti alle tecniche più raffinate.
Affronteremo, passo passo, le conoscenze necessarie per le tue creazioni, approfondendo tutti i campi necessari. Dalla conoscenza del programma alla teoria musicale, fino alla fisica del suono. Dai i synth all'armonia (la gestione delle parti in relazione costante tra di loro) e molto ancora, con lo scopo di ottenere una comprensione completa e una piena padronanza di tutto ciò che riguarda il suono e il suo utilizzo.
Ecco uno schema di cosa posso insegnarti:
- Utilizzo completo di Ableton Live e Reaper.
- Come creare e gestire una catena elettroacustica, quindi uso di scede audio, microfoni, altoparlanti, computer ecc.
- Utilizzare i Sintetizzatori, digitali e non, per creare suoni esclusivi.
- Le tecniche di microfonazione per l'acquisizione di un buon suono anche a basso budget.
- Come pensare e costruire un brano, i suoni, l'idea formale, l'evoluzione del suono con movimenti semplici e complessi (automazioni) e la gestione della soglia d'attenzione dell'ascoltatore.
- Utilizzo e gestione dei diversi controller midi.
- Come pensare e gestire un progetto per una live performance.
- Editing, quantizzazione e mascheramento degli errori (fino alla follia).
- Sintesi e campionamento del suono.
- Usare effetti base ed effetti complessi pre-esistenti: filtri, eq, riverberi, delay, granulatori, compressori, risuonatori ecc.
- Creare i tuoi effetti specifici con Max for Live.
- Mixing e Mastering: equalizzare e pulire il suono, creare un'ambiente in cui far suonare il tuo brano(lo spazio del tuo mix), gestire le soglie di compressione, gestire le steams e la traccia finale, omologandosi alle richiesti di LUFS dei diversi distributori (da -6 db a -14LUFS).
