About me

Hello! My name is Yvelis, and I’m originally from Venezuela. I currently live and work in the United States. I have been part of the Florida education system for over four years and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering as well as a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education. I am passionate about helping both children and adults build confidence and achieve their English language goals. My lessons are personalized, engaging, and designed to meet each student's individual needs. For children, I use interactive activities, phonics, games, songs, and visual materials that make learning English fun and effective. For adults, I focus on practical English for everyday communication, work, travel, interviews, and confidence-building conversations. Together, we practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a bilingual professional who learned to navigate life and work in the United States, I understand many of the challenges English learners face and can provide guidance based on real-life experience. My goal is to help every student feel comfortable, motivated, and confident using English in real situations. Whether you are looking for English lessons for your child or for yourself, I would be happy to support your learning journey. Let's work together to achieve your English goals. I look forward to meeting you soon!
