I have a BA in Language Education and a specialization in English Language Teaching Methodology at Edinburgh College. I have more than 15 years of experience teaching at different levels by using a communicative and didactic approach. As a teacher, I focus on designing course content based on students’ level, needs and interests. My goal is to provide students with tools and strategies so that they can continue learning outside the classroom. Each lesson is specifically designed to help students reach their academic and professional goals, building on their previous knowledge. We can work with a structured approach to language learning including updated and relevant bibliography or with a more flexible style texts, articles, videos, songs, among other materials not necessarily designed for classes, but that allow students to be in direct contact with the daily use of the language. I strive to provide enjoyable and didactic classes that develop the language skills of my students and take pride in them becoming part of a community that discovers the infinite possibilities of studying another language. They always come back even if they have already reached a high level because they feel the need to share in that other language the new world they discover!
