About me

I am a passionate and motivated linguist. And with this enthusiasm, combined with great commitment and energy, I carry out my profession. In my work and to my students I guarantee maximum seriousness, organisation, flexibility and understanding. As a freelance translator and teacher, in November 2021, I have obtained my Bachelor's degree in Community, Interpreting and Translation for the languages English and German. Since September 2022, I am attending the Master's degree course "Language, Society and Communication" at the University of Bologna, thus honing my knowledge and understanding of both the German and English language systems and cultures. Currently, my working and teaching languages are German, English and Italian which I use in combination with each other. I have gained experience in the field of specialised translation (tourism, law and marketing) and of foreign language teaching and didactics. For two years I have been teaching foreign languages to private clients and on online platforms. I have collaborated with a German Cultural Institute in Prato and with German native speakers. My teaching method differs from the traditional and grammar-oriented method which is widespread in Italian schools. I firmly believe that communication and constant practice are indinspensable in relation to the learning of a difficult language like German.
