Hi! I'm Vlad, a CELTA-certified English teacher from New York with 9+ years of teaching experience and more than 25,000 online lessons taught. I help students become more confident, natural and comfortable when speaking English. My lessons are personalized to your level, goals and interests, with a strong focus on real conversation and practical communication. We can work on everyday conversation, American English, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, Business English, IELTS preparation, or simply becoming more comfortable expressing yourself in English. I like to keep lessons relaxed and interactive. Rather than spending the whole lesson following a textbook, we use real topics, questions, stories and situations that give you a reason to actually use the language. I also have a background in music, improvisation and creative expression, so when appropriate I can bring these into lessons to make speaking practice more engaging and memorable. Whether you need English for work, travel, school, relationships, or simply want to speak more confidently, I'll adapt the lessons to you.
