Hello! I’m Vina, a licensed teacher from the Philippines and a TEFL-certified English teacher with 3 years of teaching experience. I believe learning English should be enjoyable, practical, and comfortable. What makes my classes different is that I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand each student’s level, goals, interests, and learning pace, then adapt my lessons to help them make real progress. In my classes, we focus on speaking and communication through conversations, questions, real-life situations, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. I encourage students to speak as much as possible, while gently correcting mistakes and explaining how they can improve. For children, I make lessons fun and interactive by using age-appropriate activities, stories, pictures, and simple conversations. For teens and adults, I can focus on everyday English, conversational English, travel, work, or building confidence in speaking. Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are a natural part of learning. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to encourage my students along the way.
