Vanessa

Hi, I'm Vanessa! I hold a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo and later I completed a Master's in Biomedicine at the University of Cantabria, along with a research fellowship in a cancer research laboratory. I am currently finishing my PhD thesis at the University of Cantabria. In addition to my passion for science, I enjoy combining my research work with private tutoring, and I know that teaching will be my future professional career. I have over five years of experience providing private tutoring to students of all levels. Additionally, I have taught practical classes at the University of Cantabria for four years to Biomedicine and Biomedical Sciences students, I co-supervised three Final Degree´s Projects in Medicine and participated as an examiner for the 2024 EBAU Biology exam in Cantabria. Additionally, I´ve been living in Sweden for a few months and I´ve done my Thesis in English, which allowed me to feel confortable teaching in this language. I like preparing my lessons in advance to make them as engaging as possible. The classes are preferentially online, but in-person sessions are also an option.
