Hallo!! Here is Vanessa :) I sing since many here but I also go deep in theater an dancing! I've studied clasical and modern singing technique and now I made my personal receipe!! I would like to share with you all I learn an all I'm still descovering about voice, singing and interpretation! Here you can listen to me https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6-8p9pR9Dw695WOgHcTFPA I like to think of the voice as the sound part of an instrument whose shape and disposition are continuously modified both physically and emotionally, being the body alive and sensitive to all external and internal events. This instrument cannot be disassembled to study it, and to know its mechanisms, but we can train listening and perception of each small movement, of each small muscle and learn how everything is coordinated and prepared to transform the air into sound and then to support the sound itself. What can we do together: -prester attention to the body through breathing and small relaxation exercises - train perception and visualization to be able to activate our tool that you cannot see but feel very deeply. - breathe in a relaxed and functional way so that our instrument is as relaxed and available as possible. -Intercept that musculature is activated at the time of singing which we need to support the sound - Understand the difference between the internal work of all the muscles needed to sing and the extra effort that simply creates tension. -Dedicate ourselves to interpretation (we will see how sometimes, through a clear intention, some technical details coordinate naturally. - improvise to train listening and be inspired. - we will choose the repertoire that you fall in love with and at the same time useful to deepen "technical" details. I think of the voice as a mysterious coordination job happens "suddenly", after listening, paying attention, open, sometimes resisting, playing, looking for our voice comes out with strength but without tension.
