About me

Hello, my name is Val. I am a native Spanish speaker and bilingual teacher. I see myself as a language enthusiast. Even though I just speak Spanish and English, I love to find out similarities and interesting connections between these and other languages as well. I have over 10 years of experience as an English as a Foreign Language teacher. I have worked with students ranging from 5 years old to over 50, both in-person and online and I obtained a certification in teaching English as a Second Language. Three years ago, I started working as a Spanish tutor, helping students around the world to feel more confident in their Spanish conversation, improve pronunciation, and reinforce grammar. I focus on presenting real-life situations and relevant, authentic material through readings, audio, and exercises.
