About me

Hello! I’m Vaibhav, and I teach mathematics with a focus on making concepts feel natural rather than memorised. I come from a strong mathematical background and have been actively involved in higher-level mathematics, especially in abstract algebra and group theory. Alongside my academic work and research interests, I’ve also spent time helping students understand core undergraduate mathematics in a clear and intuitive way. What makes my classes different is that I don’t rush into formulas—I first try to build the “why” behind every idea. Once the intuition is clear, the technical part becomes much easier. I also like to keep the environment relaxed, so students feel comfortable asking even the most basic questions without hesitation. My classes are structured but flexible: I usually start with concept building, then we move to examples, and finally we solve problems together. I adjust the pace depending on the student’s level and goals. I can teach first-year undergraduate mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and basic abstract algebra. I’m also happy to guide students who want to strengthen their foundations for higher studies. If you’re looking for someone who can make mathematics feel less intimidating and more logical, I’d be glad to work with you.

Mándame un mensaje sin compromiso y vemos si te puedo ayudar con el temario que te esté costando. Para las sesiones hay que ser puntual, si una clase es de 11 a 12, por ejemplo, es posible que a las 12 haya otro alumno esperando, así que si llegas tarde, no podrás aprovechar los 60 minutos. Siempre pido que los alumnos me digan antes de las clases qué quieren ver (aunque sea sólo el nombre del tema) para poder tener las clases preparadas y aprovechar el tiempo. Cuanto más específico seas (por ejemplo: quiero resolver estos ejercicios, quiero practicar estos problemas, quiero entender tal tema...), ¡mejor! Si algún día no me pasas el temario, no te preocupes, también improvisamos, pero ten en cuenta que la clase será un poco más lenta.
