OBJECTIVES - Knowledge of the Vocal Aparattus and its operation. - Knowledge of our voice and its possibilities. - - Design of a warm-up routine and preparation of the voice. - Caring for the instrument and identification of harmful behaviors for the voice, as well as habits and practices that favor the instrument. - Development of the capacity of hearing: musical analysis. - Study techniques for the repertoire and knowledge of the styles and the techniques used in them. - Use of the microphone and basic notions for operating a sound system. - Use of the basic musical language as a tool for interpretation, composition and improvisation. PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL CONTENTS The voice: - Production - Resonators - Registers of the singing voice, timbres, colors and qualities (vibrato, vocal fry, twang, etc.). - Relaxation. - Breathign control: diaphragm. - Impostation, vocal projection, control over volume and intensity. - Tuning, widening the vocal range, timbral, rhythmic and postural correction. - Articulation, diction and phonation. - Identification of techniques used and their development. - Interpretation and body expression. - Musical theory: Basic harmony applied to singing. Intervals. Rhythm reading. Scales and modes. Improvisation. Choral singing activities. Resources for composition.
