About me

Hi, I am Souvik Ghosh, a graduate mechanical engineer from India. I completed my graduation in 2010 from Jadavpur University. Then I joined an oil marketing company and worked for 7 years, being posted at various locations in India. In 2017, I left the job to pursue a career in teaching and academics. Since then, I am completely involved in freelancing, private tutoring, and academic works. Since my early school days, Science, especially Mathematics and Physics, were my favorite subjects. I used to tutor on 10+2 level Mathematics during my college days. Currently, I am tutoring students in high school Mathematics and Physics. Education does not mean just gathering information but rather delving deep into the subject for a complete understanding. I believe a student must have a clear concept of the subject to excel. So, I always try to teach in detail, citing practical examples as much as possible, and invoking inquisitiveness in them, and encouraging them to ask questions. In my opinion, teaching is two-way traffic as the teacher also learns something new from the student while tutoring. Apart from work, I like playing Chess; watching movies, especially documentaries, sci-fi, and superhero movies. Also, I am an avid reader and spend most of my leisure time reading science fiction, novels, scientific journals, etc. And of course, I LOVE MATH and PHYSICS!!!
