Hello ! My name is Sébastien, I am 33 years old. I have been a FLE certified native speaker (French as a foreign language) for 8 years now. I am originally from France but currently, I live and I work in Bogota, Colombia. I am fluent in English and in Spanish. I like traveling ! In an increasingly networked world, the discovery of new languages and new cultures are fundamental aspects for me. I'm also interested in movies, comics, and video games. I completed my academic training in French as a foreign language in 2018 with the MOOC Cavilam Teaching French Certificate. In 2019, I continued my studies with the DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère), which I obtained in 2020. I have been working in various language institutes for seven years. This experience gives me the opportunity to work with different target groups having different goals. I have been working as a private online French teacher since 2020. All these experiences have made me improve and deepen my pedagogical skills and knowledge. Over time, teaching has become a real passion for me. For my courses, I adapt them to your level of French, your French learning experience, and your goals. Would you like to travel to France? My method is based on COMMUNICATION and focuses on learning grammar, vocabulary, and phonetics through authentic documents. Being able to conjugate verbs in past is good! But you better know how to use it to tell a friend what you did last weekend! The purpose of my courses is that you will be able to communicate in real-life situations through various types of comprehension and production activities (oral and written).
