Hey I'm Saskia! I graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from UNC Charlotte, maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout college. Psychology is something that I not only excelled at, but absolutely love! My own enthusiasm for psychology was developed under the instruction of teachers who truly loved the subject, and I am excited to pass on my knowledge of the discipline to you. I have specific interests in cognitive psychology, statistics (including excel and SPSS), and research methods, but am qualified to assist with any area within Psychology and Sociology, up to undergraduate level. I am also able to assist with statistics from any age up to college statistics, and have additional experience in social science specific statistics. I have experience in a number of areas of tutoring, including over a year's experience in helping young children with reading skills, and peer tutoring across psychology and statistics throughout college. Furthermore, I have 7 consecutive years of experience in teaching sports to individuals of various ages and needs, and am ready to translate all of this experience to helping more to reach their academic goals. I love to find ways to ensure that my lessons are sculpted to the needs of the individual, with a wealth of understanding that everyone has different preferences and needs! I pride myself on being a great communicator, and am open to any resources and preferences that one may want to bring into our sessions.
