About me

Hello! I am Samuel, a Physics PhD from Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (ITA), Brazil. I have 15 years of teaching experience, including 5 years with the IB and UK curricula. I teach Mathematics and Physics in English and Portuguese, from secondary school to university level. My subjects include IB Mathematics AA and AI, calculus, algebra, mechanics and electromagnetism. In our lessons, we clarify the concepts, work through examples step by step and practise problems suited to your course. I use a pen tablet to write equations and draw diagrams live, and adapt the pace to your goals and current understanding. My aim is to help you develop clear reasoning and solve problems independently.
