Hi,I'm Paul.
Someone once asked me my favourite thing about teaching. I didn't have to think long. It's the moment a student says something they couldn't say the week before – not perfectly, maybe with a hesitation, but they say it. That relief on their face is why I teach.
Whilst I don't have years of traditional classroom experience, but I do hold a Level 5 TEFL Diploma and a 150‑hour TESOL Diploma. My real classroom was years of telephonic debt collection, working as an artisanal blockman, and serving as a waiter and barman. Those jobs taught me to listen, stay calm when someone is frustrated, and find the right words for any situation. That's my honest foundation.
I believe the true challenge of learning a language isn't grammar – it's fear. The Fear of sounding foolish.I'm a quiet person myself,so in my lessons we move at your pace.I won't stare while you search for an answer.I give you time, rephrase, or even answer first to show that imperfection is welcome.
I teach conversational English as a structured practice. Listening, reading, grammar, pronunciation and speaking, each woven into every lesson.I also offer Business English.correctly structured and worded emails, confident presentations, meeting navigation, and professional small talk.Beneath it all lies critical thinking, shaped through varied teaching methods which are never complicated, just thoughtfully chosen for you.We build from where you stand toward where you wish to speak.
Outside teaching, I start most mornings with cycling or running. And when I rest, I love films and dramas, especially those with beautifully deep dialogue and captivating monologues. Words matter to me.
I've always admired Winston Churchill. He once said, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal,it is the courage to continue that counts."
If you're tired of feeling judged and just want a patient, honest guide.I'd be glad to be your teacher.
