About me

Hello! My name is Patrick and I am an experienced finance professional looking to help students succeed in their finance and accounting courses. During my time in college, I was a Teacher's Assistant for an accounting class as well as helped many students informally. I realized a lot of students struggle with finance and accounting courses, particularly if they are not finance or accounting majors. I am here to help! Accounting is really more of a reading class than the arithmetic. Not understanding the language will lead to incorrect or at least very skewed results. I believe in teaching the "why" of accounting topics. This is because being able to remember and do accounting transactions is both easier to remember and easier to actually do when you know why you are doing it. I am available evenings and weekends.
