About me

English from scratch for adults: basic English, travel and conversation Hello, I’m Nil, an English teacher specialising in helping adults who want to start, resume or improve their English in a practical, relaxed way that suits their own pace. My lessons are designed especially for adults who aren’t looking to prepare for official exams, but who want to learn English for real-life situations: travelling, having conversations, understanding basic phrases, gaining confidence when speaking, or simply enjoying learning a new language. I work mainly with beginners or with people who studied English many years ago and feel they have forgotten it. That’s why my lessons are clear, progressive and pressure-free. I explain things in Spanish when necessary, we sort out any doubts step by step and practise English in a natural way, always ensuring the student feels comfortable and progresses with confidence. In the lessons we can work on: English from scratch. Basic and practical conversation. English for travel. Useful phrases for hotels, airports, restaurants and shops. Simple pronunciation. Everyday vocabulary. Listening comprehension. Overcoming the fear of speaking. My aim is not for you to memorise endless lists of grammar rules, but for you to learn to use English in a useful, realistic and understandable way. If you feel that English has always been a subject you’ve struggled with, don’t worry. I can help you.
