About me

My name is Monica. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a trained Spanish teacher, psychologist, and anthropologist. I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it in context, which is why my teaching approach involves everyday texts, audios, and videos, simulating real-life situations where you can practice and feel comfortable. In my classes, we listen and read real materials. We talk and I can give ypu tools to be fluent and confident in the languaje. My lessons are dinamic and give a lot of cultural information. If you want to learn or improve your Rioplatense Spanish, I can help you out. I hope that through my classes, you can learn Spanish in its Rioplatense variety and also get to know my city, its history, and its culture. I teach in Spanish even if you don't know any Spanish. I have the teaching tools to do it. Anyway, if you need any explanation or feel unconfortable, I can also speak English. Learn about argentine ways of speaking, what "che" and "dale" mean and what "mate" is.
