About me

Hey! My name is Amir and I have been tutoring Maths for 7 years. I really enjoy working through problems with students and helping them understand the solutions. Currently, I am teaching many students and helping them wrap their heads around topics they find challenging and I am sure I can do the same for you. I hold a postgraduate in Education (PGCE) which was specifically catered to Mathematics. In my 7 years as a tutor, every student I have worked with has shown remarkable progress (most had a 2 grade improvement or more). Over the years and as a result of my degree, I have learned many effective teaching methods. I can employ any of these methods that are necessary in order to make sure you are clear on every topic and help you achieve the top grades. To begin with, we will identify topics that you feel need the most attention and tackle them first so that they are less intimidating for you. Then, we will continue to cover the entire syllabus. Additionally, I have knowledge on specific exam techniques that give you an edge in exams alongside ways for you to be calm and confident during the exams. Let's talk!
