I am Mikel Izaguirre, a music producer specialising in electronic music. I have more than 20 years of experience as a musician (I have played in several rock, pop, soul bands...) playing guitar, bass and keyboard. This passion for music led me to the production of electronic music, to which I have been dedicating myself for more than 10 years (look for me on Spotify: my name is Hiza).
I graduated from SAE school and won the Best Electronic Music Production award from SAE Spain in my class. I currently work as a professional music producer and teacher.
In my classes, I usually work in two ways.
1) Do you want to start from scratch? My classes are designed to be as practical and dynamic as possible, because from experience, theoretical classes end up cutting the creative flow (although it is necessary to know a minimum, my teaching system is based on practice). Therefore, from some very basic introductory tips, you will be the one who will create all the elements of the composition from the first class.
2) On music compositions that you have already made in Ableton. After analysing your track, I can guide you and help you to improve whatever you need: composition, mixing, mastering, sound design (always depending on the musical style we are working on), teach you tips and, in short, help you to achieve the result you want :)
In my home studio I have Moog Sub 37 and Prophet REV 2 synthesizers, an Elektron Digitakt (a sampler and drum machine) and an AKAI APC 40. All of them are at your disposal :D
