About me

Private teacher specialized in mathematics, physics and mathematics applied to social sciences for high school, and in teaching a wide variety of mathematics and physics subjects for bachelor's and master's degrees. Details: • Hourly rate to be agreed depending on the students level/year, the amount of teaching hours, attendance and the option of contracting a follow-up service beyond class hours. The base hourly rate (with no extras or discounts applied) ranges from €12 for high school students up to €20 for master's students. • Classes can be taught in Spanish, Catalan or English, at the student's choice. About me: • Qualifications: Master in Advanced Mathematics; Bachelor’s Degree in Physics; Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics • Experience: 10 years working as a private teacher both as a freelancer (face-to-face and online) and in private schoools, both for single students and for diverse groups. I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, from primary school students to adults who reconcile their job with their studies. • Methodology: I advocate for giving students the necessary tools to solve problems so they can learn independently instead of directly providing them the answers. I am involved, meticulous and forward-looking. In this sense, my ideal class' dynamic is the one in which both the teacher and the student, as far as possible, prepare for the class in advance and continue working once it has finished. As such, I recommend contracting the follow-up service, with which the student will have the opportunity to get not only notes and exercises tailored to their current needs, but also homework with which they can continue working independently, and periodic feedback to monitor their progress.
