About me

I am an experienced English teacher with over 16 years of teaching experience, specialising in clear, structured grammar and exam preparation, particularly for Trinity College London qualifications. One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is my ability to explain grammar in a way that actually makes sense. English grammar doesn’t have to be confusing or overwhelming, and I take pride in breaking complex structures down into simple, logical steps that students can truly understand and use. Whether you struggle with tenses, conditionals, reported speech, or sentence structure, I help you see why English works the way it does — not just memorise rules. I am fluent in Spanish, which allows me to anticipate common mistakes Spanish speakers make and explain differences between the two languages clearly and efficiently. This means less frustration, faster progress, and a much deeper understanding of English.
