Hello! My name is Martín and I am from Buenos Aires in Argentina. Let me start by telling you a little more about myself. I have always had a passion for the arts and like painting murals throughout the city, studying the cello, reading literature, watching movies and going to the theater. Hello! My name is Martín and I am from Buenos Aires in Argentina. Let me start by telling you a little more about myself. I have always had a passion for the arts and like painting murals throughout the city, studying the cello, reading literature, watching movies and going to the theater. I also enjoy getting to know other people. I find that by listening to them, I am able to learn things that I never knew. Connecting with new people from different cultures is one of the best ways to travel without even leaving the comfort of your own home. Now for a little about me as a teacher. I have dedicated the last 15 years of my life to teaching Spanish to foreigners. I started as a language and literature teacher in high schools, but found that I enjoy working with adults much more than teenagers. It was then I decided to quit teaching in schools and start teaching one on one in private classes. As for my classes, they are characterized by adapting to the needs and demands of my students. This is possible since these are private classes so I am able to customize them to ensure every student is getting the most out of each class. Broadly speaking, my classes are divided into three parts. First we practice everyday conversation so the student becomes comfortable speaking and expressing themselves. Second we learn and practice grammar (it can be more or less, depending on the students' objectives). Last we go over the homework and discuss any questions they might have. The combination of adapting to my students needs and my three part class structure have allowed my students to excel. Many students took classes with me to prepare for the DELE exam and all of them were extremely happy that they were easily able to pass.
