Hello! I’m Martin, a professional pianist and piano teacher based in Trieste, Italy. I completed my advanced piano studies at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste and have received prizes in several national and international piano competitions. 🎹 I teach students of all levels, from complete beginners taking their first steps at the piano to advanced musicians who want to improve their technique, interpretation and confidence in performance. My lessons are friendly, structured and adapted to each student’s goals, age and musical interests. We can work on classical repertoire, piano technique, sight-reading, rhythm, music theory, musical expression and effective practice methods. I always explain things clearly and patiently, and I make sure that every lesson includes practical goals that the student can continue working on independently. For beginners, I focus on building strong foundations, including correct posture, relaxed movement, coordination, note reading and rhythm. With intermediate and advanced students, we can explore sound quality, phrasing, pedalling, interpretation, memorisation and performance preparation in greater depth. My aim is to create a positive and motivating atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing step by step.
