About me

Bonjour ! I am Marie, born and raised in France, I’ve been living in Italy since 3 years where I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mediterranean Archaeology in Rome. I have been teaching French online since 2 years. Thanks to my studies and my travels, I’m used to navigate between different cultures and languages. This has helped me develop the ability to quickly identify the fundamentals of a language, essential for understanding and being understood. I have a background in arts, littérature, law, archaeology and history. I love creating lessons adapted to your level and needs while integrating elements of French History and Culture. With me you’ll travel from the first Gauls living in nowadays France, through the Roman conquest, the Franks Empire, the Renaissance, the Revolution, the second Empire and to the actual Fifth French Republic. We will talk about history, the arts but also on more contemporary issues : we will in a neutral educative way understand French Politics, the French institutions, the French legal systems etc All of this is of course adaptable to your needs, level and centers of interests. I would be happy to guide you in discovering or improving your French, while exploring the rich cultural heritage that comes with it!
