About me

Hi. I'm Maria, your new English tutor. You'll love me at any age, because I have spent 30 years making learning and teaching fun, while my students continue on to the road to success. I've worked mostly with high school, university and business professionals, i.e., engineers, bankers, doctors, lawyers, etc. and focus on speaking and writing. If you can master those 2 things, the rest fall in place with the least amount of effort. For the last 9 years I have enjoyed teaching online. I was an English examiner with The Cambridge and Michigan English Exams for over 10 years. I've worked in different countries around the world, enjoying all the different cultures, food, traditions, food, monuments, food...(in case you haven't figured it out yet, I LOVE food! I was born and educated (BA, MA) in the US but have traveled extensively because of my fascination with cultures. In between my travels and work positions, I lived in Greece for the last 25 years, moved back to the US to be closer to my family for 2 years and am now back in Greece...I just couldn't keep away. I hope you join me and become part of my online family.
