About me

Hello! My name is Maria Duran, I am a Linguist, a writer and a teacher. I studied a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and a Master's degree in Children's Literature. I have been teaching English and Spanish for about 20 years and I have three years of experience in online teaching. I use different resources and platforms to make the learning process an interactive and meaningful experience. I have taught both children and adults, both one to one and group classes, from beginner level to advanced, as well as specialized reading and writing courses for international examinations. My classes are centered on developing the necessary communication skills, specially speaking, whilst also covering the grammatical structures and vocabulary necessary for the student to apply the language in daily life situations. Classes will be planned according to your needs and requirements.
