About me

Hello! I’m Maria Yago, a graduate in Biotechnology with a specialization in Nutrition and Metabolism, and additional training in Food Safety. Throughout my professional career, I have gained experience in different fields of the scientific sector, although over time I decided to steer my career toward teaching, an area in which I’ve discovered a true vocation. I have worked as a teacher in international schools, delivering subjects such as Biology and Geology, Physics and Chemistry, and Laboratory in Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, as well as within the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. I teach in Catalan, Spanish, and English, adapting the content and methodology to the specific needs of each student in order to foster solid and personalized learning.
