Hi there! I am a Pianist, Vocalist , Conductor and music educator. I am currently pursuing Masters degree in Piano performance and I am teaching at the same time.
Having 5 years experience on teaching Piano, Singing and Theory of Music. Approaching methods vary from student to student.
My journey in music began when I was 5 years old. Had followed lessons in piano/singing/theory of music ABRSM/solfege/harmony/history and morphology of music and was a member in choirs and orchestras. Gave concerts in my country, in Germany and Europe in general, participated and won competitions from 8 years old, and attended masterclasses in UK when I was 11. I have been studying piano for about 16 years. I was also a Soprano at a choir. We represented our country in Spain, with the choir team , when I was 13 years old.
My studies in Medicine though, opened horizons on meeting people who are not necessarily musicians. Therefore, I have adopted teaching approaches that suit to each individuals' needs.
I am currently doing my masters degree in piano, at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and I am teaching at the same time.
About my Teaching:
I am passionate on transferring my knowledge to my students. It makes me happy when they achieve their goals and I get more than happy when I see their smiley faces at the end of each lesson.
Teaching Experience: 5 years Private Tutoring and at Music Schools (Piano, Singing and Theory of Music ABRSM, to all the ages).
1-1 lessons: Piano students have successfully passed their exams with distinction and merit, and singing pupils participate to Musicals, in London.
My approach varies from student to student. I try to make the lessons enjoyable and at the same time to inspire my students to practise and achieve their highest goals. I can teach from beginners up to grade 8 or more advanced. I always teach to students who do not want to take any exams, as well. My love at Maths helped me to adopt practical ways in my teaching approach. Due to the fact that I had done studies in Medicine, through my training in some fields relevant to Health and Balance, I've been helped on understanding people and their needs. Therefore, I can teach to people with disabilities, as I can do Music Therapy sessions.
