About me

I’m María, and for years I’ve been helping teenagers and adults learn Spanish, Catalan, and French through both online and in-person classes. I’m passionate about teaching languages in a practical, approachable, and personalized way, because I understand that everyone learns differently and has different goals. My lessons are built around your needs: improving conversation skills, strengthening grammar, preparing for official exams, progressing academically, or feeling more confident using the language at work. I aim to make language learning feel natural and engaging by also incorporating culture, history, and real-life situations, so you can truly understand how the language is lived and used. I currently work at a secondary school and also serve as an official exam examiner, which gives me a strong understanding of academic requirements and how to help students progress with confidence step by step. Above all, I like creating a comfortable environment where students can speak without fear, see mistakes as part of the learning process, and notice real progress from the very first lessons.
