Hello! My name is Ms. Madhu, and I am a passionate and experienced English teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a Diploma in Primary Education, and I have worked with young learners for many years at a leading international school in Sri Lanka. Teaching children is something I truly love. I specialize in teaching English to young learners, especially children between the ages of 6 and 12. My goal is to help students develop confidence in speaking English while also improving their reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar skills. In my classes, I always try to create a friendly, supportive, and engaging learning environment. I believe that children learn best when lessons are fun, interactive, and meaningful. Therefore, I use a variety of activities such as games, storytelling, role-plays, pictures, and simple discussions to make learning enjoyable. These activities encourage students to speak more and practice English naturally. I also understand that every child learns at a different pace. Because of this, I always adapt my teaching methods according to each student’s needs and learning style. I patiently guide students step by step so that they feel comfortable using English in real-life situations. My lessons focus on practical communication. I help students improve their pronunciation, build vocabulary, and form correct sentences so they can express their ideas clearly and confidently. I also support students who need help with school English, homework, reading practice, and speaking practice. Over the years, I have helped many students become more confident English speakers. Seeing my students improve and enjoy learning English is the most rewarding part of my job.
