I graduated with a degree in Hispanic Philology in 1995 from the University of Alcalá de Henares. My dream was to be a professor of Spanish literature; I loved it then, and I love it even more now, for it is nothing other than life itself. I spent my last two years of university at the University of Pisa, which allowed me to have an experience that would change my life forever. I worked for five years at the Institute of Computational Linguistics, a completely new world to me, full of discovery. In the late nineties, I began to familiarize myself with the internet, with the first translation and text editing programs. It was a time full of new, modern, and exciting knowledge. I combined my research work with teaching Spanish. I started out in private schools, and little by little, other projects emerged. I taught at the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Public and Social Communication, and at the Pisa School of Translators and Interpreters. Then came the turn of another of my great passions: art. I began studying art and fulfilled a small dream: becoming a tour guide in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Florence. I dedicate myself wholeheartedly to sharing with my students the beauty and curiosity of learning one of the most fascinating languages in the world: Spanish.
