I’m a Medical student studying in English (IELTS C1) with a passion for tutoring students of all ages. 🇬🇧✨ My lessons focus on building confidence in speaking and listening through a relaxed, communicative, and empathetic approach! 🗣️💡😊 My teaching method is based on a communicative and conversational approach: the main goal is to overcome the fear of making mistakes and build confidence in speaking and listening—skills that are often neglected at school. As a student myself, I understand how embarrassing it can feel to express oneself in a foreign language, which is why I create a relaxed, empathetic, and judgment-free environment. Structure of a typical lesson: -Warm-up (5–10 min): Informal conversation in English on topics of interest to break the ice. 🥶 -Core Activity (20–25 min): Focused task (listening to short audio/video clips, role-playing, reading real-life dialogues, or reviewing school topics). 🧘‍♀️ -Consolidation & Grammar Check (15 min): Addressing any questions or doubts that arose during the activity, reinforcing grammar and vocabulary in a practical, contextualized way. ✅ -Homework Support (if requested): Targeted assistance with homework or preparation for tests and oral exams. 📚 Teaching specifics: Lessons are conducted entirely in English (adjusting the difficulty to the student's level), with explanations in Italian only when strictly necessary to clarify challenging grammar concepts. I use authentic materials (videos, articles, mind maps) and customized worksheets tailored to the student's interests.
