Looking to take your Spanish skills to the next level? ¡Hola! My name is Liz Torres, I am sure we have something in common: we like to travel and meet people from all over the world. I am a certified Spanish Teacher, originally from Colombia. I started teaching because I love teaching and enjoy connecting with people. I am extremely cheerful, creative, organized, and friendly. I like to know the student's motivations and interests to adapt my lessons to them. It does not matter what level you are in Spanish because I have 6 years of teaching experience to kids, teens, and adults in a variety of formal and informal settings as well as in the classroom and online with extensive international experience in teaching as a second language to groups and individuals. Our first meeting will tell me about your needs and I will tell you about my teaching-learning methodology adapted to the Zoom era. If you are preparing for an upcoming trip to any Spanish-speaking country or if you simply want to progress faster, I believe learning a new language should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in your life. My classes are for all levels – Our classes will be fun, conversational, and dynamic! We will cater lesson planning to your particular interests, using cultural games and online tools and materials, teaching vocabulary through pictures, youtube videos, role-plays, and creative writing exercises.
