About me

Hello, my name is Lachlan, I am from Scotland, and I would love to help you learn English. I have a CELTA qualification, i.e. I have been properly trained to teach English. And just as importantly, I love the English language. Most of all I love Shakespeare. My goal is to help you to fall in love with the English language as well. We can practise your conversational skills, in which case I will ensure that you speak as much as possible, and I will correct your mistakes afterwards. I can also give you written homework assignments if you want to learn quickly and save money. Most of all, my goal is to make you feel relaxed and in a safe place to practise and be yourself. I am currently learning Tibetan and Sanskrit, and I can also speak reasonably good French. I am an actor - I have performed in 200 professional theatre shows for an open-air Shakespeare company, often playing female characters (it is an all-male company). I am currently living in Nepal/India, practising Buddhism. I am calm, kind and clear.
