About me

I am a teacher who has a track record of achievement and with close to 2 years experience teaching English as a second language, I am confident in my ability to provide students with support and guidance they need to thrive in their language learning journey. I create exciting and engaging lesson plans, and I access the needs of the students and provide them with the support they need to reach their full potential. My unique selling point is the fact that I always create a sense of community in the lesson. One of my greatest strengths as an ESL teacher is my ability to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment. I understand that learning a new language can be intimidating, but I work hard to make sure that all of my students feel seen, heard, and supported. I have worked as ESL teacher in South Africa and remotely abroad. Furthermore, I am always seeking to improve my teaching practice and stay up to date on the latest research in the field of language education.
