About me

I am Juanlu García, a professional musician, multi-instrumentalist, and improviser. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano, Jazz Saxophone, and a Professional degree in Trumpet, along with partial studies in Electric Bass. I have trained at prestigious institutions such as ESMUC, Conservatori Liceu, and the University of Évora. I have taught Jazz and Modern Music at the Jazz and Modern Music Institute of Extremadura, in permanent education programs at the University of Extremadura, and at various other institutions. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to collaborate with amazing musicians, many of whom are key figures in the Jazz scene, offering me invaluable learning experiences. I don’t usually open slots for private lessons, but if you’re reading this, I probably have availability. Reach out, and let’s get started.
