Hi, I'm Juan, a musician, composer and producer. I graduated from the Municipal Music School of Montevideo in the year 2000. I have more than 25 years of teaching experience both in music schools and colleges as well as privately. I directed several ensemble groups. Throughout all these years I have understood that the best way to make learning effective and continuous is by adapting to the concerns, abilities and ways of learning of each student. The system that I have developed suggests that in 1 month you can already be playing a simple song. Learning is approached towards practice from the first class. The theory is progressively included, always linked to the concepts that are developed in the execution. We define the repertoire together with the student and relate it to the topic to be treated. I have a home studio with drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and a sound card to make professional recordings. In this way I can play together with the students to develop the ability to assemble the performance of the instrument in a band. All of this is recorded to keep track of progress both in execution and in the ability to play along with another musician. Within the course I also aim to develop the ability to compose, the songs are polished throughout the year and at the end of the course the final version is recorded so that if you want you can upload it to networks or platforms such as Spotify or YouTube. The first class is free so you can evaluate my system and educational proposal.
