About me

About me: My name is Jennifer and I am a native English speaker from the UK with a neutral British accent. I have lived in Spain since 2019 and I can speak Castellano at a conversational level, which helps me to understand the errors that Spanish speakers make in English. I can explain the errors by comparing the two languages, such as differences in sentence structure or ‘false friends’. Me as a teacher: I`ve been teaching English online to Spanish speakers, as well as students from all over the world, since 2020. I have great relationships with my students, and it gives me great satisfaction to see them learn and progress, applying their English to studies, employment and travel. My lessons & teaching style: All of my classes are planned specifically for the individual students' interests, learning styles and goals. I am experienced in teaching CAMBRIDGE exam material, especially at levels A2, B1 and B2. However, I also teach conversation-based classes that incorporate activities, such as vocabulary and grammar exercises, skills practice (e.g. reading, audio activities, writing practice, and discussing images/text), pronunciation, correct pronunciation, becoming more fluent, or learning through games.
