I know some things aren't very intuitive and teachers doesn't explain things in a clear way sometimes, that's why I'm going to make sure you understand every tool and process used in graphic design so you can keep that on mind and take the next step on what maybe is your dream career. Or maybe your passion is a different one, like programming, and you feel that some knowledge on graphic design could be useful in your specialty.
Anyway, whether you want to be an illustrator, a graphic designer, digital, printing, a photography or video editor, etc., Adobe offers a lot of software and I know a large part of them, specially the basic pack (inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). You can choose which one or ones you want to learn and let's do it.
