About me

Hello! I'm Jacob, a Maths teacher with over 10 years of classroom experience, and I also teach Chemistry. I hold a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and have taught learners from upper primary to secondary school, including serving as a Vice Principal. I believe Maths becomes easier when learners understand the steps behind each idea. I break topics into simple, clear parts — from basic number skills and problem-solving in upper primary to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics at secondary level. Through guided practice and carefully selected exam-style questions, I help learners build confidence and improve their performance. My lessons are designed around each learner's needs. I first identify areas of difficulty, then use simple explanations, practical examples, and step-by-step guidance to make challenging concepts easier to understand. I also teach Chemistry, helping learners understand topics such as chemical calculations, atomic structure, bonding, organic chemistry, and practical applications of Chemistry in everyday life. I am patient, friendly, and committed to helping learners make steady progress without feeling rushed.
