Mi enfoque es claro y comprensible, combino la enseñanza de teórica de la Estadística con ejemplos actualizados, (generalmente del área de finanzas y administración) en los que aplico y enseño funcionalidades de Excel (es un dos por uno).

Tengo más de 20 años de experiencia de trabajo en el área de finanzas y de planificación y 10 años de experiencia como profesora Universitaria (presencial) de Estadística I y II en las Escuelas de Economía y Administración de la UCV. Tutora en el área de análisis de datos en tesis de grado y postgrado. Adicionalmente cuento con una certificación en enseñanza en línea y experiencia en el manejo de recursos en línea.

My name is Hermelinda, I have a degree in Statistical Sciences from the Central University of Venezuela - UCV -, with a postgraduate degree in Management Informatics, I have taken many courses in the area of finance, costs, project management, teaching techniques including online teaching certification. My approach is clear and understandable; I combine teaching the theory of Statistics with updated examples (generally from the area of finance and administration) in which I apply and teach Excel functionalities (it's a two-for-one). Based on my experience teaching both in-person and online at the university level, I utilize a wide range of teaching resources. I use learning objectives and assessment rubrics for monitoring progress. I can teach students of any level, providing a practical understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics. I have over 20 years of experience working in finance and planning, and 10 years of experience as a university professor (in-person) of Statistics I and II at the Schools of Economics and Administration of the UCV. I also tutor undergraduate and graduate theses in data analysis. Additionally, I hold a certification in online teaching and have experience managing online resources. Now retired, I have 100% of my time available for teaching, an activity I have always enjoyed.
