About me

My name is Gemma and I'm an online and in person Spanish teacher. I'm a graduate in Advertising and PR but it wasn't until later on that I realized that teaching was one of my callings. I have six years of experience in teaching Spanish to people from around the world. Therefore, I usually teach a general and inclusive Spanish language, for those students that want to travel or live in Latin America. Communication is one of the most important tools that we use to connect amongst each other, to bring communities closer and to integrate in cultures we are interested in. It fills me with joy to be able to help in that sense and to be able to see how the goals of understanding and speaking in Spanish are accomplished. I consider to be well organized in my methodology, and I have clear goals in each lesson or course. For me it's very important that we move forward in an effective and productive way yet always looking for variability and fun times. I love to give conversation! I'm creative, curious, expressive and fun. I enjoy a simple life near the ocean because apart from teaching, one of my other callings is surfing.
