About me

My name is Gema Villanueva Alonso. I am a fourth year student of the Double Degree in Early Childhood-Primary Education at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Since I was in high school I have helped children with their homework, reinforcing content, using my own dynamic and playful methodologies, as well as preparing them for exams. When I reached Bachillerato, (always combining study with private classes), I decided to become a teacher. After studying the second year of Bachillerato, a very hard but rewarding course, I took the Selectividad exam and thanks to the marks I obtained I was able to take the double degree. Currently, as a student, I continue to give classes, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to some girls in 5th grade of primary school. Therefore, my available timetable is Tuesday and Friday afternoons and weekends. I can offer private classes in different subjects and different levels from 3 to 12 years old, infant and primary education. I consider teaching to be one of the most beautiful professions there is. It is wonderful what a child can transmit through a look, a smile or a drawing. Therefore, dedicating part of my time to observing and helping them makes me learn that through little things you can discover great talents.
