Hello! My name is Gaudencia, and I’m so happy to meet you here.I’m an English teacher with a TEFL certification, and I’m currently studying for a Bachelor in Administration with UNISA. Studying while working has taught me how to stay organized and patient - two things I bring into every class with my students.I’ve spent the last year teaching English online to primary and secondary school learners. Working with different ages and levels showed me that everyone learns differently, and that’s what makes teaching exciting for me. My main focus is conversational English, because that’s what most students actually need: to speak clearly, understand others, and feel confident in real situations like school, work, travel, or daily conversations.What makes my classes different? I don’t use a one-size-fits-all method. I organize each class according to your objectives and interests. Want to improve speaking for job interviews? We’ll do role-plays and practice answers. Struggling with grammar? We’ll break it down into simple steps with lots of examples. Need help with school homework or exams? I’ll explain concepts in a way that makes sense to you. Mistakes don’t scare me. In fact, I encourage them! That’s how we learn and grow. My classroom is a safe, relaxed space where you can ask questions without feeling judged. I’m approachable and positive because I believe students learn best when they feel supported and motivated.How I structure my lessons: We start with a friendly check-in, then jump into the main topic for the day - speaking practice, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, or grammar. I use real-life dialogues, videos, games, and stories to keep lessons fun and practical. Every session ends with a quick review and a short, useful practice task so you can keep improving between classes.
